Let’s Get Digital!

At STEM Sports®, we believe learning should be active, engaging, and fun. That’s why our digital curriculum doesn’t just live on a screen—it comes alive through physical activity.

By pairing interactive digital lessons with hands-on movement, students gain a deeper understanding and stronger retention of STEM concepts. For example, while learning about velocity, force, or geometry, students apply their knowledge on the field or court of play, turning theory into practice.  Specifically, one lesson in our STEM Football curriculum has students analyze the properties and behaviors of a football.

Lets Get Digital!

The Benefits:

  • Boosted Engagement: Students are more motivated when they can move, experiment, and see STEM in action.
  • Health & Wellness: Physical activity keeps kids active and energized, supporting both mind and body.
  • 21st-Century Skills: Combining digital learning with play builds problem-solving, teamwork, and adaptability.
  • Deeper Connections: Students experience firsthand how STEM is woven into the sports and activities they love.

Our approach ensures that students aren’t just learning STEM—they’re living it. The result? Smarter, healthier, and more inspired learners ready to thrive in and out of the classroom.

Program Profile: STEM Football

Using a curriculum that coincides with the current sports schedule is an excellent tactic. The college football season has begun, and the NFL kicks off tonight in Philadelphia as the Eagles defend their title. Used in classrooms or after-school, our STEM Football program tackles the topics and subject matter that are trending on the gridiron. Lessons cover:

  • Energy and motion differences between a youth football and a foam football
  • How in-game communication technology enables success for NFL teams
  • The nervous system and the importance of helmet engineering
  • Successful pass completions using data related to the use of receiver’s gloves
    • And our Capstone project puts the students in the director’s chair as they create their own STEM-themed football Super Bowl commercial!
